The Sabres are starting the season off pretty well. Many players are contributing and you can see their growth from the off season. Paille looked extremely well putting up a couple points and throwing his body around. Rivet is also standing out from the team. And did anyone see the fight against the islanders?! That was an amazing game

Trading Rumors

I have heard some rumors that Max and either Kotalik or Conolly were going to be traded for the Wild's Marion Gaborik. I think this would be good for the team....What do you think?

Stanley Cup

I would have to say that the sabres could have a shot at the stanley cup. They had a tremendous 06-07 season and won the presidents trophy, and a not very good last season. So I think that this season will be the bounce back season and they will have a good run to win the stanley cup. The Red Wings were in the same position in the 1993 season. They won the presidents trophy then had a bad season and then the next season they won the stanley cup so maybe history will repeat itself....
